With more than 10 years of experience in accounting, Emily brings a well-rounded background and a practical, hands-on approach to helping businesses understand and manage their finances.

Emily earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and began building her accounting career while still in college, working at a CPA firm in the Tampa Bay area. During this time, she also began working for a large nonprofit organization, where she spent nine years growing her experience and advancing her career to become Accounting Director.

As Accounting Director, Emily managed an accounting staff responsible for multiple locations and entities, prepared financial reports for management and the Board of Directors, and coordinated external audits. This experience gave her an in-depth understanding of managing complex accounting operations and the importance of accurate, timely, and organized financial information.

After nine years with the nonprofit organization, Emily returned to public accounting, joining another CPA firm in the Tampa Bay area. Throughout her career, she has worked with a variety of accounting needs and developed expertise in accounting cleanup, financial statement preparation, budgeting, tax-related accounting, and customized financial reporting.

Emily especially enjoys taking disorganized or outdated accounting systems and turning them into accurate, streamlined financial processes that business owners can rely on. She understands that clean, organized books are more than just numbers—they provide business owners with the information they need to understand how their business is performing and make informed decisions about its future.

As a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and an Excel expert, Emily is passionate about using technology to make accounting more efficient. She has extensive experience working with accounting software and helping businesses transition from paper-based processes to modern, automated systems. Her goal is not simply to maintain the books, but to help business owners create efficient systems that save time, improve accuracy, and provide better insight into the financial health of their businesses.
